Mist and fog systems have been effectively used in outdoor cooling applications for decades. They can provide cooling of ourdoor temperatures by up to 40 degrees fahrenheit with no noticeable increase in humidity.

By using special pumps, the delivery system can produce billions of water droplets as small as 5 microns (one millionth of a meter). These microscopic water droplets then "flash-evaporate" which reduces the temperature in the surrounding area.
